With summer coming, it's the perfect time to bring your four-legged friend with you on your next trip to the UK. But what if you want to grab a cup of coffee or brunch with your pup? Luckily, there are many cafés in Britain that welcome dogs. In fact, some even provide special treats for pups and their owners. We've made a list of some of our favourites so that you can enjoy them too!
London - Caffi, a coffee shop in Shoreditch that serves up artisanal brews, has an outdoor space where dogs are welcome (but not allowed inside). Their menu includes cold brew coffee and hot chocolate made with coconut milk.
London - The Jack Wills Tea Room, located in Covent Garden, is a dog-friendly restaurant that serves British food and afternoon tea. The tea room also has a dog menu for your pup to enjoy while you sip on your own drink. If you want to take part in the classic British tradition of afternoon tea (and who doesn't?), then this is the place for you! The Jack Wills Tea Room serves its last round at 5pm every day so keep an eye out if you plan on going after work; otherwise they're open from 10am until 9pm most days.
London - The Pantry is a great café with a dog-friendly policy. It's in central London and has good coffee, food and service. They also have a little shop at the back selling sweets and treats for your pooch!The location of The Pantry means it's near lots of other dog-friendly places so you can take your dog out for an afternoon stroll around Soho before grabbing some lunch here or just popping in for coffee on its own.
London - Gunpowder is a dog-friendly café in London that serves up delicious food and drink for humans and their four-legged friends. They have lots of outdoor seating options, so you can sit and enjoy the sun with your furry friend by your side! Dogs are welcome inside as well as out. The menu includes a wide range of breakfast items such as toast with jam or marmalade (vegan options available), eggs benedict on sourdough bread with hollandaise sauce (eggless option available), pancakes made from scratch with fresh fruit puree topped with maple syrup or homemade granola. Lunch options include salads like the beetroot & lentil salad served warm in winter months or cold during warmer weather; sandwiches such as smoked ham & cheese baguette ; hot dishes like sausage & mash served with gravy; pastas such as pumpkin ravioli served in sage butter sauce; pizzas like margherita with mozzarella cheese & tomato base topped off with basil leaves. You'll also find some sweet treats here too including cakes made daily from scratch using local ingredients where possible; cookies baked fresh daily using organic flour sourced from artisan bakers around London; brownies made using dark chocolate made locally here too!
London - The Fitzroy Tavern is located in London, England. It's a traditional pub that also serves food. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, with wooden tables and chairs, exposed brick walls and dim lighting. The menu offers traditional British pub fare like fish & chips or bangers & mash (sausages). There are also options for vegetarians such as mushroom stroganoff or quinoa salad with avocado dressing. Desserts include sticky toffee pudding with ice cream or apple crumble pie with custard sauce; both of which can be served gluten-free upon request! Manchester - The Happy Pig Diner allows four-legged friends on their patio area, but they must remain on leash at all times. The diner serves up American comfort food like burgers and fries along with milkshakes made from scratch using local ingredients whenever possible!
Manchester - Cafe Coco is a dog-friendly cafe on the Northern Quarter, just off of High Street. The staff are friendly and welcoming to all customers, whether they have a dog or not. They also serve great coffee and food (including vegan options) in a relaxed atmosphere that's ideal for groups. If you're looking for somewhere to hang out with your pet while enjoying some good conversation and a nice brew, this is the place!
Manchester - Barrio North, If you're looking for a dog-friendly cafe in Manchester, then Barrio North is the place to go. It has a great menu of food and drinks, it has an excellent atmosphere and location, and it has a wide range of both food and desserts. Barrio North is located at 2-4 Edge Street in central Manchester city centre (right next door to The Ruby Lounge). They serve breakfast all day long as well as brunch on Sunday mornings from 11am-2pm!
Brighton - Hound Dog Café welcomes pets onto their outdoor terrace where they can enjoy treats from their bakery case while you enjoy your meal indoors or out! They also offer free WiFi so you can work while Fido plays fetch nearby...
Brighton - The Pembroke is a dog-friendly café in Brighton, located on King's Road. It offers seafood, vegetarian options and breakfast, brunch and dinner menus. The food is good quality and reasonably priced; the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming; the staff are friendly - what more could you ask for? vIf you're looking to impress your friends with your knowledge of local eateries that welcome well-behaved dogs (and their owners), then this place will do nicely!
Edinburgh - Tangerine Café is a dog-friendly café that's open all day, every day. It has outside seating and serves food and drink with free wifi. This is a good spot for families to stop by as it has plenty of space to allow dogs on leashes or in carriers, making it easy for you and your pup to enjoy a meal together!
Nottingham - BrewDog Nottingham is a dog-friendly pub that offers a menu for dogs, as well as humans. They have an outdoor area and plenty of space for you to walk your dog around the city centre. They also have a bowl full of fresh water at all times, so if you're thirsty or hungry after a long walk then you can stop by here for some food and drink!
Leeds - Fika is a Swedish cafe and bistro, located in Leeds. It's known for its coffee and pastries, but also serves up breakfast dishes like eggs benedict, burgers and salads. Fika is open from 7am to 8pm Monday through Thursday; 8:30am until 9pm on Friday and Saturday; and 10am until 6pm on Sunday. The prices are pretty reasonable: most dishes cost between £5-£10. When you arrive at Fika expect to be greeted by an all-white interior that feels very Scandinavian with its blond wood tables and chairs plus bright red walls which give it some character!
Cambridge - The Duke of Cambridge is a dog-friendly pub in London that has a large garden, a dog menu and even its own beer garden. It also offers plenty of space for your pooch to have some fun outside with other dogs and their owners. The Duke's terrace area overlooks Regent's Canal with views over Kings Cross station and it's the perfect place to relax after taking your canine friend for a walk along this popular route (or if you're feeling lazy).
Lewes - The Forge is a dog-friendly café in Lewes, East Sussex. The food is great, the service is friendly and they have an extensive menu with something for everyone--whether you're looking for something healthy or something more indulgent. There are also lots of options if you want to stick around after your meal; they have board games and books available to borrow while you wait for your drink order! The Forge has good value for money as well; their breakfasts range from £5 - £8 which is not only affordable but also means that even if you end up spending more than planned (which happens often), it won't break the bank! It's also conveniently located right next door so if one thing goes wrong during this process then there's always another place nearby where we can try again before heading home frustrated with ourselves rather than having wasted our day entirely trying different places without success."
Cheshire - The Harp & Dragon is a dog-friendly pub in Cheshire, with good food, nice atmosphere and affordable prices. The location is also great: it's just off the A556 road to Warrington and Manchester Airport, so you can stop there for lunch on your way home from work or on holiday if you're heading out of town for the day. The Harp & Dragon has been open since 2012, but it looks like it could have been there for decades--it has that "olde worlde" feel about it (without being too kitsch). The interior feels spacious with lots of natural light coming in through windows at either end of the bar area; there are also some lovely decorative touches like stained glass panels above doorways leading outside into gardens where dogs can run around freely without worrying about cars driving past them!
Cornwall - The Hideaway Café is a dog-friendly café that allows dogs in its outside seating area. However, you'll have to leave your pup at home if you want to sit inside the café itself. Dogs must be well behaved and on leashes at all times while they're on The Hideaway's premises; no food or drink for dogs is allowed on the premises either (though there are water bowls available). A £5 per dog charge applies when you visit this establishment with your furry friend
Devon - Hop House 13 is located in Devon, England. It's open from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week (except Christmas Day). The dog-friendly policy is "pets are welcome" and there are no restrictions on breed or size of dog. However, they do ask that you refrain from bringing any dogs who are poorly behaved or who may cause problems for other customers--you know your own dog best!
Brighton - This dog-friendly café in Brighton is the perfect place to take your pooch for breakfast or brunch. With options ranging from pizza to burgers and breakfast, there's something for everyone (and their four-legged friend). The menu includes a range of savoury dishes such as sausage rolls, quiches, soups and salads alongside sweet treats like brownies and cookies. You can grab an ice cream cone outside if it's warm enough too!
